Welcome Samari!

The Carpenter family would like to take this Christmas week to announce the arrival of our second child, Samari Julian Carpenter. Born Dec. 22 at 11:42 am ET, 7lb 14oz, 19.5in. Sophia has done her part in welcoming him to the family. Here are some shots below from our first couple days together:

October round-up

Hi, hope it's not too cold where you are. It is in Indy! Daddy/Troy's birthday party on monday might have to be an indoors affair. Ribs, beer, and oysters on offer for anyone who wants to stop by ;) Meanwhile, enjoy some photos of our little star and her latest hijinks:

G'day and go colts.

On our neighborhood walk the other day, Sophia and I saw a few leaves falling from a tree at the end of our street. What might that mean? Is Autumn upon us already? Couldn't be, but September's just around the corner. Well, the end of summer is known for a few good things, great garden produce and the beginning of football season not minor amongst them. Here's some excerpts from Sophie's world the last couple of weeks:

Fam visit & fair

What a couple weeks! First, we got visits from the Douglases (Grandma Darcy and Great-Grandpa Jim) and Carpenters (Aunt Angela/Abba and Grandpa John), and then we worked and partied hard. Down below are some shots from the Indiana State Fair, where we ate a bunch of food and communed with the farm animals. Love y'all.
